Morrocan Beef

A favourite of mine - the combination of tomato, spinach, cumin, turmeric and sultanas with lamb or beef provides a welcome break other dishes. It's quick to cook and a good way to eat spinach if you don't like the flavour of spinach but need some iron!

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Brown beef in oil and garlic in a hot pan, add onion until softens.
  2. Add sultanas and almonds, cook for 1 minute
  3. Add chopped tomatoes, spinach, turmeric, cumin and sugar, and cook for another 3 minutes.
  4. Serve with cous cous (or rice, but cous cous seems to taste better)
